Hi from Northern NSW

Hi there, totally new to metal detecting, got my first one from a mate for a good price.
Garrett Infinium LS. So far in about 3 hours in total on local beaches, I have about 45 individual finds, from rusty nails to a $2 coin, aluminium pieces, etc.
I found an old fashioned ring pull in about 14" of wet muddy sand and a whole aluminium can, the old type with the push in buttons at almost 2 feet deep in same wet muddy sand.

Anyone else from Northern NSW ?

Ring pulls are a prospectors nightmare, it gives off the same ID as a gold ring well on the AT GOLD it does lol so most of the time you have to dig them all its still fun tho

Hopefully oneday I'll find a gold ring. LOL

I am amazed at the sensitivity of the Infinium. I found a very small fish hook (about size 8-10, or smaller than a 5c coin) about 8-10inches down in wet sand.
